Role & Requirement

You will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring & controlling projects to successful closure.

Accountable for project deliverables and managing the project team.

Interact with customers and provide timely updates of the project status to all relevant stakeholders.

Identify process improvement areas and take corrective action. Ensure timely communication of issues and status, weekly status reporting to Management.

Good understanding of software project management, processes & methodologies.
-
Lead communication with direct reports, customers, internal stakeholders for all elements relevant to the successful execution of PROJECT Delivery.

Manage and communicate proactive analysis with a focus on continuous process improvement elements of critical metrics/KPI’s including but not limited to: Utilization, Resource Management, Assignments, Skills Requirements/Training paths.

Lead collaboratively with professionals in several functions with a focus on assisting account teams, delivery teams and other PROJECT resources through each project and project lifecycle .

Implement and execute simplified individual and team SLA’s where required for escalations .

Provide guidance to strategic Resource Management Team to ascertain resource skill requirements to identify delivery resources via suppliers as needed.

Manage team workload balance with a focus on utilization, PROJECT delivery strategy opportunities, and results driven data to support the PROJECT Delivery business.

Responsible for continuously monitoring the overall progress of projects and having a risk assessment and mitigation plan in place for further communication to senior management team.

Lead development team in requirements analysis, features scoping and backlog scheduling for multiple intermediate milestones until the final delivery.

Lead development team in accurately projecting efforts, resource requirements, risks, constraints in project management related activities.

Implement standards & best practices for software development and ensure process compliance.

Responsible for managing the simultaneous development and maintenance of different versions of each software product. Should be conversant with release engineering, build and multi-releases.

Responsible for analyzing resource requirements, recruitment, and succession planning.

Responsible for training and mentoring of the development team and monitoring their performance throughout the project.

Responsible for keeping self and the development team updated on latest trends in tools & technologies.
Desired Candidate Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
-
15 years of experience in program management.
-
Experience in people management as a direct first-level manager.
-
Engagement with Director/VP level executives and experience in executive communication.
-
Understand the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identify connections, adopt different perspectives, and respond to changing circumstances in a strategic way.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, bring talent/ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

Comfortable with changing specifications or standards, with ability to create conditions for a team to be comfortable/capable of responding to ambiguity.

Excellent investigative, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Experience with end-to-end feature development, especially across development.

Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple, simultaneous complex tech projects.

Ability to produce documents that communicate strategy, status, scope, timelines, task planning, action items, risks, issues, project dependencies, test planning, or rollout planning.

Strong team player and creative thinker who can lead technical teams and cross-functional groups.
