5Y began in 2011 as the Engineering Lab in India, to serve as an R&D centre for building innovative products. 5Y was established as a company where product ideas could be incubated and matured. We built multiple products alongside
executing on customer projects.
As 5Y developed multiple products for customers, we started conceptualizing a Technology Framework that would make development of any project easy and can remove many months of repeat work while also bringing resilience, scalability, and efficiency to the product that was built on it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain web applications using .NET 6.0, C#, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Build and maintain scalable microservices architectures.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Develop front-end components using ReactJS.
Containerize applications using Docker for seamless deployment across environments.
Leverage AWS services for cloud-based solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Maintain version control using GitHub

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-7 years of professional experience in software development.

Strong proficiency in .NET 6.0, C#, Web API, C-Sharp and Entity Framework Core

Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases

Solid understanding of microservices architecture.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

Proficiency in front-end development using ReactJS.

Experience with Docker for containerization

Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based development.

Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly GitHub

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
